An avid fisherman and gun enthusiast, Wayne found joy in the great outdoors, often indulging in his love for fishing, which became not just a hobby but a way of life. He was proud of his accomplishments, such as the catch and release of a 1000lb Grander Black Marlin in Australia, and especially the time spent surrounded by family and nature. His zest for life and warm spirit left a lasting impression on those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Wayne is survived by his devoted wife, Marjorie; his son, Capt Chris Hanson, who operates Scales 2 Tales Charters, and his partner, Kris Todd; as well as his cherished granddaughter, Haley Hanson.
