Wanda Dehessa

Wanda Elanine Dehessa 71, passed away October 8, 2019 at her home in Islamorada.  She was born June 4, 1948,  in Massilon Ohio to parents Harry"Lester" and Mildred Nolen.. Wanda lived in the Keys over 30 years where she met her husband David "DOC" DeHessa . She worked at the Cheeka Lodge as a security guard/greeter and lived her Keys life to the fullest , making many friends along the way at her favorite Moose Lodge and OceanView Pub.  She is survived by her beloved sisters Janet Nolan and Norma Ridenbaugh.   Loving special niece Melissa Pulver(Doug), step-daughter Lori Kraycik, step-granddaughter Sarah Storter and a host of friends. She is predeceased by her parents Lester and Mildred,  husband "Doc", Brother Robert McCullough, Brother Allen Nolen and sister RuthAnn Gilliland.   A Celebration of Life will be hosted by The Key Largo Women of the Moose on Saturday December 7, 2019 @ 1:00pm  followed by a private family scattering at sea.
