Vincent "Dick" Bennett, 70, passed away on June 14, 2012. Born in Cambridge, Maryland on July 21, 1941, he moved to North Miami and then to the Keys in 1976 as a tropical fish collector. He finished his working career doing resort management & security. He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Bennett; his mother, Catherine I. Deerholt and his oldest brother William Bennett. He is survived by his wife, SueEllen Bennett; daughter, Janet (Scott) Mizell; son, Vincent Bennett and granddaughters, Katelyn & Kathryn Mizell. He is also survived by his brother, George Bennett; sister, Catherine Bylock and brother Johnny Bennett. He served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne Division. A celebration of Life Service was held with family and friends on June 18, 2012 at Saint James the Fisherman Episcopal Church
