Thomas James Bruno, 55 of Islamorada, Florida Keys, passed away on May 10, 2012, after a brave and strong fight with cancer. Thomas moved to the Florida Keys in 2004, enjoying the life style of the Keys. He loved helping people, always with his smile, never to complain, enjoyed the sunsets and beaches he came to love. He was a kind, gentle, and loving soul, witty, and always had a smile. He is survived by his mother Mary Jane Redhead, sister and brother-in-law Capt. Ann Holahan-Ingalls (Steve) also he is survived by soul partner, Richard Drapakowalski of Delaware. Also survived by many cousins and friends.
Thomas was predeceased by his grandparents Samuel T. and Theresa Bruno of Canastota and his beloved Chelsea, a Dalmatian he loved.
Thomas, you live each day now with wings of faith and roots of hope.
Private family memorial will be held at San Pedro Church in the future.
Thomas' wishes were in lieu of flowers, to donate to the Humane Society.
