Sheri Horton

Sheri Reid Horton left this earth during the early hours of Friday, June 20, 2014 after a long battle with breast cancer. Sheri was the loving wife to Donald Horton. They just celebrated their 42nd anniversary together. She was an amazing mother to Brandi Horton and Amie (Horton) Owens, and an incredible grandmother to Christian William-Reid Owens, her faithful four legged sidekick, Abby, and friend to many. Surviving family include: Ruth Reid (her mother) of Homestead, FL; Kathy Reid of Kendall, FL; Teri Reid of Cypress, TX; many loving nieces and nephews, and Dr. Carmen Calfa (our angel).
A private family service will be held in the near future on Salty Mountain in North Carolina. The family request in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to the Oncology Center at Mariners Hospital and/or the Memorial Breast Cancer Center in Hollywood, FL.
