Scott Matthew Shubeck

December 9, 1963 — November 21, 2024

Marathon

With great unexpected sorrow, Scott Shubeck, a devoted father, brother, uncle, son and very beloved friend has passed away on November 21st 2024 in Miami, Florida.

Survived by his daughter, Nicole Binn and her husband, David. His Brother, Drew Shubeck and his wife, Denise. His Niece, Drewanne Shubeck. Along with several aunts uncles and cousins

Scott was born in Elizabeth, NJ to parents Robert L Shubeck (d.3/27/24) and Barbara L Shubeck. (d.8.10.23) He lived a short time in Linden before moving to Freehold when he was 2 years old.

Scott had a tough exterior with a big heart and overflowing charisma. He was humble, selfless, and quite literally would give you the hole and grease covered flannel off his back. One of Scott’s greatest gifts was the ability to meet new people and create lifelong friendships.

Scott had many passions in life. From a young age he was a self taught mechanic that loved muscle cars. He loved fishing, he loved nature, farming, and shooting his guns. He was a grill master, family boat captain, and lived to make his family happy.

Scott was also an exceptionally talented truck driver. There was no trailer or destination that would intimidate him. While on the road, Scott loved seeing the beauty of the country. His favorite landscapes to see were the beautiful mountains of Appalachia and the Shenandoah Valley. He loved more than anything, reliving the old days with a good friend.

Towards the end of his life, all Scott wanted was to move back up north to be closer to his daughter, Nicole. He had plans to settle in either Paradise, or Promised Land Pennsylvania. However, the only Promised Land or Paradise God planned for him, big enough to contain a personality such as his, is the one created by God through the Sacrifice of Jesus. May he rest in Paradise with them forever.
