Sandra Dee Waxler is a beautiful young lady of 63 years old. She would have turned 64 on September 11th, 2023, but Sandy passed away August 16th in the year of our lord 2023 peacefully in her home in the Wynken, Blynken & Nod neighborhood where she wanted to be.
Sandy spent the last few days of her life with one of her best friends Tammie Sanders and one of her sons Leslie Belt along with her best friend, loving partner and constant companion Sandy’s husband, Russell L. Waxler since he was blessed to marry her on May 18, 1996, at the Loveland Wedding Chapel in Sandra’s home state of Colorado.
Sandy had loved ones all by her side while they listened to Sandy’s favorite tunes by Bob Marley. She was happy and content as Sandy was finally out of her pain which she had struggled with for years and had been becoming unbearable in her last three months.
Sandy read her bible faithfully and is very much a Christian, she is forgiven blessed and saved by our Lord Jesus and everyone should know she walks with Him now and she will always be watching over us. Sandy really liked proverbs and believed Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make your path straight. Sandy tried to help anyone she could and was almost always smiling at anyone she met hoping at least to cheer them up.
Sandra and her husband Russell moved to the Key Largo area almost ten years ago after Sandy barely survived a bout with double pneumonia. Before her relocation to the Keys for over twenty years Sandra was a T-6 mail carrier for the Arvada Post Office, doing 2 or 3 routes a day walking as many as ten miles a day, 6 days a week and she absolutely loved her job. Sandy really liked and cared about all the people she met on her routes and loved the comradery of the U. S. Post Office and has many close friends there.
Sandy loved to travel and had successfully gotten her photo taken at each state sign for every state in the United States plus Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas and St. Maarten. Road trips were her favorite mode of transportation, but she did fly a lot of places before she had to carry an oxygen concentrator.
Sandra loved all her extended family and had a very large group of friends even though she was shy and sometimes uncomfortable around people she did not know very well. Sandy loved you very deeply and if you are family or friend, she loves you for life no matter how upset she may get or mad she would be she always forgave anyone and everyone for anything.
Sandy is now being welcomed in Heaven by her father Slyvio Wuerrino Dincola (Poppie), her mother Ruby Alice Dincola (Gramma), her sister Betty Jean Leigh and brother in-law Rodney William Leigh Sr. Also passing before Sandy was her son Jacob Anthony Dincola who we lost August 11th, 2017, and his and her good friend and confidant Todd Merle Whittenburg and many other very close family and friends.
Sandra Dee Waxler is survived by her husband Russell L. Waxler and her oldest son Joshua Paul Dincola of Denver, Co. and her other son Leslie Lynn Belt of Littleton Co. Also, Sandy’s granddaughter Skie Belt Lovell, her sister Sylvia Duncan and brother in-law Red Thomas Duncan, her brother David Luke Dincola and his wife Darlene Dincola and a very large extended family of nieces, nephews and friends that are family.
Sandra will have a celebration of her life at Bear Creek Lake Park (MeadowLark Cove) in Colorado on September 30th at 3PM. I know she will be deeply missed and be forever and always in our hearts and minds.
Heavenly Father, thank you for the way You call each of us to Yourself. You have put eternity in my heart, and I long to experience the life You want me to live. Help me demonstrate the kind of love, goodness and righteousness that comes only from You, Lord. I pray for the strength to pursue Your will and seek the satisfaction only You can offer. Amen
