Ronna L. Chappell, 39, Tavernier, FL, died June 16th at Jackson Memorial Hospital after a painful battle with ALS.
Born in Putnam County, Indiana on August 16, 1972, she was the daughter of Judith Ann Smedley Allee and Ronnie H. Allee.
She graduated from South Putnam High School in 1990 and from Indiana University SPEA School in 1994.
She worked for the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association. She was the director of the Indiana Licensed Beverage Association. She had the honor of working for Congressman John Myers in Washington, D.C. While residing in Florida she was employed by the Islamorada Fish Company and Century 21 Keysearch.
Ronna was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie H. Allee; his parents Alice Marie Allee and F.M. Allee; her uncle Tim Allee; and her grandfather Morris (Jum) Smedley.
She is survived by her mother, Judith Allee; her grandmother Emma Alice Smedley; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends; plus her beloved pets, Monty, Captain, and Buttercup.

Ronna chose to be cremated and her ashes spread in the ocean in the Keys she loved.
