Remembering Robert Guy Patton "The General"
1950-2016
Robert (Bobby) Patton 65, of Key Largo passed unexpectedly on May 10, 2016. He is proceeded by his father, Richard R. Patton of Las Vegas, Georgina R. Patton-Cherry of Key Largo, his baby sister Patti Lynn Patton of Evergreen, Colorado.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Sandra Patton, his son Ray Alexander, wife Christy of Raleigh, North Carolina, his son Robert G. Alexander, wife Gabriela of Winter Haven, Florida, his son Randall D. Alexander of Key Largo, his two beautiful grandchildren Devin Guy Alexander and Rebecca Miranda Alexander of Winter Haven, Florida. His nephew Ben and niece Rachel of Evergreen Colorado. his niece Robyn Rizzotto Martinez, husband Andy, his cousins Austin and Noah of Round Rock, Texas. There are many other Italian Aunt's, Uncles and cousins that live up north.
Robert severed his country proud in the USAF, he retired from Metro Dade Fire Department as a Captain, Paramedic, Rescue diver in 2004. In his spare time with mostly his own blood, sweat and tears he built his wife a beautiful home in Key Largo, Florida. He spent his 12 years in retirement traveling, boating, fishing and just loving his Keys life.
Everyone that met him became a friend and was honored to know him. The world has lost one of the best and we all loved him more that words can say. I know when I see my husband again he will greet me with open arms and sweet cheek kisses as he did everyday we were together.
