Richard Sypek
August 21, 1957 — September 26, 2015
Richard D. Sypek, of Taunton, MA, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the age of 58.
He was born to loving parents, Bernard and Dorothy Sypek on August 21, 1957 and was a lifelong resident of Taunton, Ma.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Margaret; 2 brothers, Jeffery and Skip Sypek; son, Richard D. Sypek Jr.; daughter, Tiffany Sypek Faye; stepchildren Jody and Christopher; 5 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Richard was a graduate of Taunton High School, class of 1975.
He then went on to study at the Bay State School of Technology where he obtained a degree in heating and refrigeration.
Among many things, Richard was a skilled finish carpenter, boating and fishing enthusiast, and loved to work in his garden.
He was well liked among his peers and will be greatly missed by all.
Per Richard's request, a small cremation ceremony and scattering of ashes will take place shortly in the beautiful Florida Keys.
