Richard (“Rick”) Keith Celmer, born June 20, 1952, passed away on January 29, 2025. Born in New Jersey, Rick lived in Tavernier in the Florida Keys for most of his life.
Rick served as a radar man in the United States Navy Reserves before opening his own company, Diamond Pools, Inc., which he owned and operated for over forty years.
Rick loved feeding fish off his dock, taking loved ones out on his boat, making friends and telling a good (or a bad) joke. He had an immense appreciation for music, often humming a tune or telling you about a song he heard. His laugh will be forever missed.
He is survived by his two daughters, Carly (Celmer) Falgout and Candace (Celmer) Cottet, his four grandchildren, Reegan, Julia, Bear, and Dorothy; his ex-wife, Cathy; his older brother, Phil; and his little sister, Cyndy.
A celebration of life will be held on February 15, 2025.
