Raymond Alan Collings

Raymond Alan Collings, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on July 1, 2023, in Tavernier Fl. He was born on May 30, 1943, in Detroit, MI to Rose Collings and Cecil Collings.

Raymond led a remarkable life as an engineer. With his innovative mind and dedication to his work, he made significant contributions to the field throughout his career. His relentless pursuit of knowledge and excellence made him an inspiration to all who knew him.

But Raymond's accomplishments extended far beyond his professional life. He also served in the Navy as a pilot and served in Vietnam War. His bravery and commitment to protecting his country are a testament to his selflessness and love for his fellow citizens.

Family was incredibly important to Raymond. He cherished the time spent with his loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Maguire Collings, stepdaughter Lisa Maguire, Brother Leonard Collings, Nephew Michael Collings, and Grandchildren Christian Peoples, and Zech Rock.  

Raymond Alan Collings will forever be remembered for his incredible achievements, unwavering love, and genuine compassion. His legacy lives on through the hearts and minds of all those fortunate enough to have known him. We celebrate his life and the profound impact he had on our lives. May his soul find eternal peace.
