Nicholas Alan Kulas, 60 of Key Largo FL, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 9, 2022. He was born February 13, 1962, in Dixon, IL to James and Karen Kulas. He worked at Lawrence Brothers in Sterling IL and Modern Plating in Freeport, IL. He moved to Key Largo Florida where he worked at Cheeca Lodge, Sea Dwellers and H&R Block for the past 17 years. He was an avid swimmer and was a certified Master Diver. Nick also loved to read, collect stamps and watch the Chicago Bears. He is Preceded in death by his father James Kulas and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Nicholas is survived by his mother; Karen Kulas; His children; Nicholas Kulas, Nicole (Tony) Hull and Branden Kulas. Grandchildren; Haydyn, Hunter and Holdyn Hull. Sisters; Kim Ottenhausen and Kelly (Brian) Starkweather. Along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 12 from 1-4PM at Winslow Community Building, Winslow, IL 61089.
A memorial fund has been set up in his honor, checks payable to: Shirley Ryan Ability lab . Memo: scuba diving program.
