Biography
Michael "Mikey" Dewein passed away january 7, 2012. He was 50 years old. He was born on November 24, 1961. He was from Iowa and came to the Keys to be closer to his dad. He is survived by his father, Jack Dewein who lives in Key Largo and his children that are from Iowa. Mikey has been a very loyal and good friend to many people in the Keys. He always volunteered his time for the VFW Post 10211 as Senior Vice President of the Men's Auxiliary. He also volunteered at the Key Largo Moose Lodge #1587. He worked with his dad at Jack's Bikes, MM103, in the Uhaul Storage Unites. Whenever anyone needed anything he would be right there to help with no hesitation. His beautiful smile will be surely missed.
A memorial service will be held at the VFW Post 10211 on Thursday, January 19, at 7:00 p.m. Everybody is invited to attend.
