Mary Barnett Warner, age 82, passed away on September 8, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved wife of the late Roy F. Barnett and the late Raymond Warner. Survived by her children, Rebecca Shannon, Bob Barnett, and Bonnie Costa (Ken); granddaughter Katy Costa; sisters Barbara Brown (Billy), Ginnie Cannon (Jerry), Betty Filler, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was an active member of Burton Memorial Methodist Church for 20 years. She worked as a secretary for Dade County Public Schools for 25 years and was a former member of the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Business and Professional Woman's Club.
A private family viewing was held by Allen-Beyer Funeral Home on September 12, 2011 with a funeral service that followed at Vista Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Miami Lakes.
Donations may be made in honor of Mary to: Florida Keys Children Shelter, 73 High Point Road, Tavernier, FL, 33070, which she strongly supported over the years; or to: Wuesthoff Hospice House, 661 Eyster Boulevard, Rockledge, FL, 32955, where she was so lovingly cared for along with her family.
