Martha Booth

Martha Ann Booth (Maggie or Mumsy) 79 of Big Pine Key passed away on November 18, 2020 after having suffered with dementia for the past few years.

Martha was born and raised in Paoli PA to the late Walter & Anna Perry on May 14, 1941. Martha was the beloved wife of John Booth who she met on a blind date 60 years ago and married shortly after. They soon moved to Long Beach Island, New Jersey in 1975 where they raised their two boys John and Christopher. They decided to sell the booth family compound on LBI and moved to Big Pine Key in 2005.

Martha loved the beach and island living. She enjoyed her daily long walks, baking, history, historical home tours (especially at Christmas) & books, she was an avid reader. Her greatest joy was her family, being a wife, mom & grandma. She was the most patient, caring, kind, sweet & loving person. She was a lady in every aspect of the word.

Due to the event restrictions a celebration of life will be held in the future.
