Marcie Ann Celmer, 64, passed away from throat and lung cancer on April 16th, 2015 at Mariners Hospital. She was born in Trenton, NJ but was a long time resident of Plantation Key, FL.
Marcie was an accomplished singer and dancer. She studied voice with Rita Cavell of Bala Cynwyd, PA. She was the cheerleading captain at Ewing High School, she performed a duet with Paul Anka and she frequently stared in Tony Grant’s Stars of Tomorrow show on the Steel Pier in Atlantic City. She loved working at The Trading Post grocery store but retired in 2014.
Marcie is survived by her long-time loving companion Glen Neely, her mother Lucille Celmer, her sister Cynthia Tomassetti, her brothers Philip Celmer III and Richard Celmer, her son Robert Schroth Jr., his wife Etsuko, her three grandchildren Nanako, Ryoko and Robert Schroth III and her beloved dog Conner. She was predeceased by her father Philip Celmer II.
Marcie’s family will be having a private service where her ashes will be scattered.
