Leonard Ralph Porosky, age 71, of Tavernier, FL, passed away suddenly on June 14, 2016. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 5, 1945 to Leonard Michael Porosky and Elizabeth Lollo Porosky. He lived in Elmira, NY, St. Louis, MO, Rochester, NY, and settled in the Florida Keys, Islamorada. He was a lifelong Entrepreneur. Always the consummate host he naturally transitioned into the Tourism Guest Industry. He also served in the U.S. Air Force from 1963-1967. He was a member of the Islamorada Moose Lodge. Lenny “Daddy-O” Porosky shared not only his wisdom from a life lived large but also was known for his constant generosity. Never judged a book by its cover, he always saw the value in everyone he met. He cherished friendship and lived for his grandchildren. Grandad loved the world and was loved by the world. He learned from his mistakes so others would not have to. He was preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by the mother of his two sons, Sharon L. Porosky; Sons: Christopher Porosky (wife Shara Moscinska) and Matthew Porosky (wife Therese Leggiere). Grandchildren: Grace, Eve, Jude, and a baby girl on the way. We miss you.
