Leonard L. Kulesa, age 60, of Key Largo, FL, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011, after a long battle with cancer.
Leonard moved to the Keys 15 years ago from Pennsylvania, retiring from CMC Hospital as Assistant Director. In his younger years, he was an excellent pool player. He met the love of his life Patricia Frushon 47 years ago, and they were married on September 4, 1971.
Leonard was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Kulesa, Sr. and his mother Genevieve (Marek) Kulesa, as well as stepfather Walter Filipski.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia and their daughter Lisa (her husband Edward Guman), all of Key Largo, FL. He is also survived by his Uncle and Godfather Walter Swiderski of CT; his brother, Joe Kulesa of Pensacola, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
He was always a loving husband and a wonderful father, being the strong-hold of the family; he will be sadly missed by his loved ones and friends.
Services will be held at a later date.
