There is a hole in the hearts of Lee’s family members and friends. Lee was a wonderful husband and brother, a fantastic dad and great friend. He loved life, he loved people and never shied away from the grumpy or difficult; Lee was determined to befriend them all. He believed that you could learn something valuable and lasting from almost anyone. It was the little things that meant so much to him.
Like everyone he was not perfect, he was stubborn, determined to see things done right. He wanted always to fix whatever was wrong in the lives of the people he loved. He was quick with an apology to those he cared about. He cared for his mother-in-law Marie and his brother Joe for years. He loved his wife, Chris, his sister, Rena and his three children, Dane, Alanna, and Hunter. Chris, Rena, and Alanna were at his side when he passed.
His dream was to live in the keys, where he spent part of his childhood. He was able to fulfill that dream for the last three years of his life. He told his sister Rena once that he felt incredibly lucky to have found the love of his life, Chris, and to live his dream in the keys.
He was taken from his loved ones way too young and we will miss him every day!
