Laverne Smith

LaVerne Smith of Key Largo, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home July 14, 2017 at the age of 90. She is survived by her daughter Christy (Tom), her son Kim (Rona), four grand-daughters, and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Roy "Marty" Smith and her youngest daughter, Leslie. LaVerne was active in the Key Largo Civic Club and the Italian Club. She worked for several doctors in the upper Keys, and was grateful to have played a role in the healing of others. Her joyful spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
