Laura Jane Pellow, age 50, a Florida Keys resident for over 27 years, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011, arising from health issues with her diabetes. She worked for the Cheeca Lodge, Chesapeake Resort, and Tavernier Creek Marina. She worked with the Clean Marina Program throughout Monroe County, helped mentor High School students, and participated in Upper Keys sports with her son. She loved to be outside in the sun, enjoying boating and kayaking.
She is survived by her loving husband, Russ, and son Rusty, her parents and two brothers.
