Joseph V. Mupo, Sr

January 28, 1944 - May 20, 2021

Joseph V. Mupo, Sr. age 77, of Tavernier, FL drew his last breath peacefully at home on May 20, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer.

Born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ, he left New Jersey in 1967 for Florida. Mostly living in Broward County until 1992 when he purchased a home in Tavernier, the Florida Keys. He enjoyed with a passion the lifestyle there and his friends and family that came to visit.

In early 2000, Joe retired from the vending business and lived life to the fullest enjoying his favorite hobbies...boating, fishing, traveling, gardening, and of course, playing poker.

Joe leaves behind his wife Nancy of 35 years, his sons Ron and Joe Jr, grandchildren Ronald, Krista, Joey, Danielle, and sister Janet Cole.

Joe requested that a celebration of life be held in his honor further down the road and that his ashes be placed in the Florida Bay at sunset.  He also wanted us to bid farewell with a toast of margaritas to honor his life well lived. Rest easy now our friend.
