Biography

Jerome Philip Girard, Jr. died peacefully April 22, 2010 at his Ramrod Key home. He was born June 29, 1963 in St. Albans, Vermont. He graduated at Bellows Free Academy of St. Albans, VT. He was a dairy farmer in Fairfield, VT and moved to Florida in 1996. He was employed as a carpenter, and in recent years was employed by Sweetwater Homes. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Girard. He is survived by his loving wife Tracy Girard whom he married October 7, 1996 and precious daughter Emily; his mother Florence Girard-Powers of North Port, FL; two brothers Ellery Girard of Nokomis, Fl and David Girard of West Lynn, Oregon; three sisters Stephanie Drudell of Port Charlotte, FL, Diane Barkyoumb of St. Albans, VT and Debra Woodward of Fairfax, VT. Godmother Alma Kennedy of Burlington, VT and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He loved his family and life. He loved spending time on the water, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
