J.P Corey, age 67, of Tavernier, FL, passed away on January 23, 2013. He spent the last 30 + years of his life in the Keys enjoying the ocean he loved. He always tried to share his passion and love of the water with anyone who was willing to learn. He enjoyed having great friends over to cook for and have a great time. He loved to water-ski, scuba-dive, and fish.
He is survived by his son Ryan, his sister Diane, his ex-wife Susan, his sister-in-law Jacinthe, and all of his close friends. J.P Corey was a loving father, and great friend to all of those he knew.
A viewing will be held on Friday, February 1, from 6pm-8pm, at Allen-Beyer Funeral Home, 101640 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, FL.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
The family would appreciate donations for funeral expenses in lieu of flowers. Donations may be made to Allen-Beyer Funeral Home.
