James Heely

James Anthony Heely, age 74, a 35 year resident of Monmouth Beach, NJ and winter resident of Key Largo, FL, passed away March 14, 2013. He was Chair of the Accounting and Business Law Dept. of Monmouth University, was Chief Financial Officer of J. J. Newberry Company, Vice-President of the Sewing Products Group of the Singer Company, and Corporate Vice President and Comptroller of N.L. Industries. He was a graduate of St. Francis College and a Certified Public Accountant. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; son, James A. Heely, Jr.; his step-son, Chris Reilly; his daughter-in-law, Laura Heely; his grandchildren: Jimmy, Billy, Michael and Kimberly; his brother Vincent Heely; his sister-in-law Carol; his aunt Angela; and his cousins, niece, and nephews. He had a love of the water, boating, and fishing and passed this love on to his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to: VNA/Hospice of the Florida Keys, 92001 Overseas Hwy, Taverneir, Florida 33070.
There will be a memorial service at a later date in New Jersey.
