Memorial Service will be held at Key Largo Baptist Church (MM106 Bayside) on Sunday, December 15, at 3:00 p.m.
Jack Francis Watson, age 58, of Key Largo, FL, went to be with his savior Jesus Christ on December 11, 2013, after suffering a sudden heart attack. Jack was born in Boston, Mass. on November 21, 1955 to Ernest and Frances (nee Brown) Watson. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp, based at Cherry Point, NC. Jack and his wife Sandy would vacation in the Florida Keys from their home in Mass. They loved the Keys so much that they permanently located in Key Largo in 1994. He has been the Security Director at Mariners Club in Key Largo, FL for 10 years. He loved his position there and it showed to all those around him. Jack was an avid "tinkerer" of electronics, especially computers. He loved to fix things and was talented in doing so. He loved people and was always doing something to help and add value to people. If you needed something and asked Jack for help, he was always there to offer his assistance. He is survived by his wife Sandra, who has been by his side for over 28 years; two stepchildren, Kimberly K. DuBon and Edward T. Pugh of Smyrna, TN; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Danny R. Anderson. A Memorial service was held on December 15, at the Key Largo Baptist Church, with Pastor Steve Vetter officiating. Cremation arrangements were made by Allen-Beyer Funeral Home.
