Marathon, FL - Mr. Jack E. Buchanan, age 78, of Marathon, FL passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Jack was a native of Cleveland, OH and graduated from Michigan State University before beginning careers in Medical Sales. He was the son of Dr. & Mrs. Enos B. Buchanan of Lakewood, OH. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marilyn Buchanan and grandson Tyler Buchanan.
Jack is survived by his wife Georgette Buchanan and his daughter Tracy Buchanan of Boston, MA; sons Jack Buchanan of Missoula, MT; Jeff Buchanan of Westminster, CA; Tim Buchanan and wife Jayne of Rittman, OH; step daughter Peggy Butts and her husband Gary of Miami, FL; and his 9 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of Jack's life at the Marathon Elks Lodge from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 15, 2015.
Graveside services will be held at Chandler Gray Cemetery in W. Yarmouth, MA. In lieu of flowers the family wishes a donation to be made to the American Cancer Society.
