Helen P. Wike, 87 of Tavernier, FL passed away peacefully at home with her family on January 10, 2015. Helen was born on November 2, 1927 in Taunton, MA to Antone Pimental and Ernestina (Moreira). She was married on January 28, 1950 to Milton R. Wike who she will now join at Southern Memorial Park, North Miami, FL. Helen is survived by her daughter Kathryn Jo Busbin (Tom), granddaughters Nichole K Boals (Chad) and great grandson Jackson Boals, her son Robert J. Wike (Cindy) as well as her caregivers. She was well-known as the owner of Townside Supermarket in Islamorada for over 30 years. Many may remember fun times on the Sun Cruz Casino Boat and others a day at bingo at the Civic Club or the Islamorada Moose Lodge where Helen was a member.
Visitation and Prayer Service will be held on Thursday January 15, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Allen-Beyer Funeral Home in Key Largo FL MM 101.5
Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 16, at 1:00 p.m. at Southern Memorial Park, 15000 West Dixie Hwy, North Miami, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
Helen was a great woman and will be sorely missed by many.
