Guy R Rehmann

Guy Russell Rehmann, age 67, passed away on December 3, 2023 at Vitas Hospice in Kendall,
FL after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He was born in Elmhurst, IL and lived in Carey, IL
from early childhood to adulthood. Guy studied music at Illinois State University. He had a
talent for performing in high school musicals and was in the opera La Boheme at ISU. He
worked for Walmart corporation as a regional manager in the trucking division for many years,
then as a business consultant for Franklin-Covey Company.
Guy played hockey through high school and college and also loved playing golf, even getting a
hole-in-one at one point. He was an avid fisherman which inspired his move to the Florida Keys
in 2005. Guy grew up fly fishing in the local trout ponds near his home, even tying his own flies
with skill. In the Keys, he enjoyed catch and release fishing for mahi, snook, with his favorite
fish to catch being tarpon. Guy and his wife, Alesa, had a love for animals and adopted five
Golden Retrievers over the years.
Guy is survived by two daughters, Erin Rehmann (her spouse, Stacy Conrad), Lindsay Rehmann,
and Guy’s spouse, Alesa Rehmann.
The family is planning a celebration of life, the date to be announced at a later time. Donations
