George Helton Henderson, age 82, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Miami VA Healthcare.
He was born to the late William Henderson and Lula Helton Henderson on March 14, 1930 in Richlands, VA. He is also preceded in death by one sister, Anna Sue Boardwine.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Bonnie Henderson of Tavernier, FL; one son, Brent Henderson of Ft. Myers, FL; one brother, William Henderson of Punta Gurda, FL; one sister, Helen Poston of Rosedale, VA; and four grandchildren, Joshua Johnson of OH, Angelia, Michelle, and Derek Henderson all of Ft. Myers, FL.
A cryptside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012 in the Chapel of Remembrance Mausoleum of Mt. Rose Cemetery with entombment to follow. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the mausoleum.
