Eric Vihlen

Eric John Vihlen (1967- 2019)
Eric was reunited with his adoptive parents, Sid & Iris Vihlen, in Heaven
on Friday, March 29, 2019. Eric loved TV wrestling, Nascar, Star Wars,
snakes, Duck Dynasty, Swamp People & chocolate ice cream. Although
he was vaccine-injured early in life—causing a heart attack at age 12—
and he was unable to speak, feed himself or walk for the next 38 years,
he never lost his sweet sense of humor. He is survived by best friend
and brother, Ed Vihlen, who has cared for him since Iris departed March
20, 2017, and sister, Ginger Shamblin, who lives in TN. There is no
memorial service planned—but donations in his honor should go to:
