Elena Dimaggio

Elena Marie DiMaggio, of Key Largo, FL, passed away on December 9th, 2021. She was born to parents Nicholas Mancini and Mildred (Bruno) Mancini, on September 3rd, 1943 in Havertown, PA.

Elena earned BS degrees in Biology and Chemistry at Cabrini College in PA and graduated with highest honors.

Elena taught high school biology for several years while also raising a family. In 1980, she started her own Cable TV distribution company. She founded one of the first businesses to be WBE (Women Business Enterprise) certified in the industry. She was the President, CEO and sole stock owner of her company for 30 years. Elena was honored by Inc Magazine in 1985 as the #6 fastest growing WBE certified business in the nation and ranked 203 out of 500 top privately held businesses nationwide.

After 30 years of running a successful family business, she retired in 2010.

Most dedicated and loving mother, mom-mom and great mom-mom. Elena is survived by Daughter Elena Marie, Son David Carmen, Daughter-in-law Judith, Granddaughter Erika, Grandsons David Jr., Nicholas, and Dominic, Great Grandchildren Johnny and Jaxon.

She was preceded in death by parents Nicholas and Mildred, Brother Pasquale, Daughter Kristina and Son Michael.

A Mass will be held at St Justin’s Catholic Church in Key Largo, FL on Friday December 17th @ 1pm.
