Devon Nichole Myers 34, passed away July 22, 2023 in Islamorada, Fl.

Devon built a successful detailing business in Islamorada. She spent years on the waters learning the ways of the ocean. Starting in Orange Beach, AL. as a first mate in the gulf. To Tarpon Springs, Fl and made her final move to Islamorada, Fl where she became captain. She parted ways with fishing to open her business but being on the water was something she would never lose love for. Devon had many talents, from writing and publishing poetry, to out fishing the boys, to creating, building and arts. Devon was full of life and met no stranger. She was a mother of 2 children, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a friend to everyone. One thing is for sure, Devon absolutely loved her family. 

She is survived by her two beloved children, Kaedyn Nichole-Lynn Sumner (Daughter) and Elijah Lavelle Sumner (Son) Her parents, Tracy Lynn Rhoads, and Thomas Alan Myers. Devon had many siblings, nieces, and one nephew. 

A private viewing will be held August 4, 2023 at Allen-Beyer Funeral Home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, details to come.
