Darlene Palmer
August 9, 1945 — December 7, 2015
Darlene Jule Palmer passed away at home on December 7, 2015 after battling numerous health issues. Darlene was a beautiful jewel who loved to ride all over Key Largo on her electric scooter while visiting stores and restaurants. Darlene never met a stranger while talking to everyone who she came in contact with during her daily excursions. Darlene’s beautiful smile and fierce determination for life will be forever missed.
Darlene was a resident of Key Largo for over two and a half years. Originally born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and lived in Niagara Falls, New York for over 50 years before moving to Florida six years ago.
We would like to thank everyone who was kind to Darlene in her many travels. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Domestic Abuse Shelter of the Florida Keys.
