D. Mcallister

D. Edward “Tex” McAllister of the Ocean Reef Club, Key Largo, Florida, and Stone Harbor, New Jersey, died October 27, at age 71. A long-time resident of the Philadelphia area, he was a graduate of the Episcopal Academy, and the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. A retired executive, he had headed an advertising typography business in Philadelphia, P.H.P. Graphic Arts Corp. for decades and more recently a metal stamping company, F.B.F., Inc., in Southampton, Pennsylvania. In addition to the Ocean Reef Club, he was a member of the Avalon Yacht Club (New Jersey) and the Ocean Reef Yacht Club.
He is survived by his wife Constance, children Mark McAllister (Kate), Christa Shannon (John), Wendy Belle, Joseph Gambescia, and Elisabeth Langton (Kevin), and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Scott Schumacker.
