Cindy Kaye Main passed away suddenly on March 14, 2011. She was born on February 4, 1965 in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Marvin Main and Karla Rininger. She grew up in the area and graduated from Charlotte High School.
She was very special and always a people person. C. Kaye loved being a resident of Key West for the past several years with her significant other, Aida Fortner. It was her home and she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her father Marv Main; step mother Patricia; Grandmother Lucille Glew; Aunt Connie Lutz; step sister Michelle Preston; and step brothers Dean Grub and Robert Emerson; step brother-in-law Steve Proctor; as well as two nephews and a niece.
She was preceded in death by her mom Karla; step brothers Steve Grub and Victor Main; and step sister Heather Main-Dennis.
A Celebration of C. Kaye's Life was held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at the south end of Smathers Beach in Key West, Florida.
