Charlotte Louise (Crosier) Grathwohl, 96, of Marathon, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on July 22, 2018. She was born on March 27, 1922, in St. Catherine’s, Ontario, Canada and moved to the United States with her parents and older sister, Dorothy June, as a child. She was predeceased by her loving husband, George W. Grathwohl, a distinguished Marathon Charter Boat Captain.

She and George moved to Marathon in 1959 from Long Island, New York. Louise was a part of the Marathon medical community and worked for several doctors in Marathon. She loved gardening and devoted time to her family.

She is survived by her son, Richard W. Grathwohl, of Marathon, daughter, Lynn Grathwohl Filby and son-in-law, Carl Filby of Magna, Utah, daughter, Georgia Grathwohl Dardick, son-in-law, William Dardick of Boynton Beach, FL, grandsons, Robert Moore (wife Joanna), David Filby (wife Natalie), and William Harmon and granddaughter Myra Dardick, great-grandsons Stephen Moore and Gunnar Harmon, great-granddaughters Deja Harmon, Sierra Moore, Brooklynn and Mattilynn Filby.

A private memorial for the immediate family is planned. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that she be remembered by giving a smile to a stranger.
