Casimer Turek

Casimer S. Turek, of Tavernier, FL, passed away December 7, 2013. He was born in Chicago, IL to Andrewz and Elizabeth Turek. He served in the U.S. Army, and moved to the Keys in 1980 from Chicago. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona; brothers: Stanley, Steve, and Mike; sisters: Helen, Sofie, Lillian, and Caroline. He is survived by his son, Andrew; daughter-in-law, Chris; grandsons Jake and Cody; nephew, Mitch; and his many friends from the Golden Lions Company H, 106th Infantry Division.
Visitation was held Tuesday, December 10, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Allen-Beyer Funeral Home, 101640 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, FL. Graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 11, at 11:30 a.m. at Palms Woodlawn Cemetery, 27100 Old Dixie Hwy, Homestead, FL.
