In Loving Memory of Our Mom…

Brycelynne “Angel” Borden (nee Ulrich) (62) passed away on July 29, 2024, in Tavernier, Florida.

Born on November 30, 1961, at the Naval Base in Memphis, Tennessee, to Edna Ann Lewis and SSG. Kenneth Wallace Ulrich I, Angel was the youngest of three kids. Angel grew up as she often described, “a typical Marine Corps brat,” and spent the bulk of her teenage years in Anchorage, Alaska (when she wasn’t hopping around the world to join her dad on deployments).

Angel moved to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, over 30 years ago, where she raised her four daughters with their father, John Borden II. While Cayman always had her heart and was always “home” to her, for the past 12 years, she was a proud resident of Islamorada, Florida. Angel was a jack of all trades and would go out of her way to help those around her.

Angel is preceded in death by her parents, eldest brother, Theodore “Teddy” Ulrich, late husband, Francis Xavier DeLessio, and late partner in love and business, Jorge Luis Cabrera I.

Angel is survived by her four daughters, Angelica (Jonathan) Rosado, Brittany (José) Pintado Mojarrieta, Christal (Isaac) Tomac, and Danielle (Alexander) Hennings; three step children, John Borden III, April DeLessio, and Matthew DeLessio; five grandchildren, Madeline Hennings, Isabelle Rosado, Elsa Pintado Mojarrieta, John-Robert Tomac, and Charles Hennings; three step grandchildren, Sofia, Francis, and Logan DeLessio; brother, Kenneth (Diane) Ulrich; nieces, Kristina (Ed) Page, LeeAnn (Leeland) Blackman, Mistie (Tony) Ulrich-Marable, Jessica (Sherman) Kennon; and nephew, Rein (Kelli) Ulrich, as well as grand-nephews and a whole host of close family friends.

The family will be holding a memorial service in the Florida Keys, which will be followed by a funeral service and burial in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Further details to be provided.
