Amber Kogelis 4/1/93-2/25/11

Left us suddenly on 2/25/2011, leaving behind many friends and family who loved her dearly. Amber enjoyed many hobbies one of which was work. She worked at the Trading Post in Islamorada during the summers and also at Habanos' in Lower Matecumbe, most recently the Sunset Grille in Marathon. Amber's favorite hobby however was riding horses, she loved every minute that she was able to spend at the barn or riding down the beach. Over the last few years she became quite the rider. Amber had completed school and had made a brave decision to serve her country in the U.S. armed forces. That is something that might seem shocking to some, but those who knew Amber knew she was selfless above all else. Amber is survived by her loving and adoring father Victor Kogelis Jr and Betsy Jacocks, her Grandfather Victor Kogelis Sr., her Mother Michelle Gadacy, and her half-brother Steven Gadacy, and her best friend Bobbi Jo Fisher and Jordan Rodriguez. Services will be held at Beyer Funeral Home Sunday March 6th 2011. A viewing at 3pm with a service to follow.
