With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Albert W. Murphy on February 1, 2024 with the love of his life for 40 years by his side. Albert was a remarkable man who touched everyone he met for 94 years.

Al is additionally survived by two children: William Murphy and Carole Parkerson.

Al graduated from Burlington City High School in New Jersey. He was an Army veteran and he was very proud of his service to his country. He was a past Commander of the American Legion and an active member of the American Legion for many years. He was  involved with the Shriners for over 60 years. Al was also a Masonic Mason.

There is a Remembrance of Life for both Al Murphy and Phyllis Angrick on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 1pm at the American Legion, 4115 Overseas Highway, Marathon, Florida. Fellowship and light refreshments will be served after the service

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Al’s name to the American Legion, Marathon, Florida or to the charity of your choice.
